In and around the GTA and Southern Ontario, there is a constant flow of new series, movies or production sets of various scales popping up all over. We tend to imagine a bustling cityscape when it comes to filming, but in Ontario we’re lucky to have access to sprawling lots, forests, farmland and remote locations. If you’re in charge of a film or television set this winter, then you’ll need to make sure you keep the crew and cast comfortable. And for better or worse, part of that will include making sure there’s a place for folks to relieve themselves.
Comfort You Can Count On
While movie studios usually have washrooms on set, remote locations don’t. Fortunately, portable toilet rentals are comfortable, clean and can be placed almost anywhere. These are just a few of the types of units available from Pitton Plumbing’s Portable Sanitation:
Regular Units. If you’re shooting in a warehouse or other indoor location but don’t have access to regular washrooms, our regular units are just what you need. These are also available with a recirculating flusher or a sink.
Wheelchair-accessible units. If you want to make sure your set is accessible as possible, these spacious portable units are the right choice. They’ll also be appreciated by any parents of young children you have on set as they provide extra space to change clothing or diapers.
VIP trailers. If your set is in an outdoor location or you just want to treat your cast and crew to something special, then our VIP trailer is the way to go. Our VIP trailers are climate-controlled and come equipped with sinks that supply hot and cold running water. Each trailer has two washrooms, a mirrored vanity, soap dispensers and towel dispensers.
Additional sanitation equipment. We can provide your movie or television set with extra holding tanks for waste or excess liquid. And, if you need hand-washing stations or sink trailers for hygiene, washing up or cleaning, we are more than happy to provide those for your production as well.
Behind the Scenes
We do more than just provide your portable toilet rentals. In addition to flexible delivery hours, we also offer the following 5-star services:
General cleaning. Once a week, our crew will come vacuum the holding tanks, scrub every surface of the unit and restock the hand sanitizer and toilet paper.
Extra cleaning. If once a week isn’t enough for your film set, you can request extra cleaning services any time you’d like.
24-hour emergency services. We have technicians on call 24 hours a day. If anything goes wrong with your unit, they’ll rush there to fix the problem.
